Hi folks!
As the nights draw in and the rain drizzles (this is England after all), why not settle down with a nice cup of tea and a strength training DVD? I’ve put together some tasty deals and there are more new products coming in as the holiday (gift) season approaches.
DVD combo deals 15% off!
Some things are just better together. Get 15% off when you buy the following DVDs together:
* Dan John’s Everything’s Over My Head and Bodytribe’s Strength Rituals
* Dan John’s Everything’s Over My Head and A Philosophy of Strength Training
Either of these combos will keep you busy, entertained and training for a long while to come. Click the links above to read more details about each DVD and why they are so fabulous.
New Dan John DVDs
I’ve already had some of you asking when I’ll be getting the new Dan John DVDs in stock. Well, they are on their way from the States as I type and should be here sometime in December. Check out the full range here.
For anyone who doesn’t keep up to date with what the Poobah of Utah is up to, Dan John now has three more DVDs available from the Never Let Go workshop event:
Perfecting your Kettlebell Form
Olympic Lifting for Beginners
Warm ups, Workouts and Barbell Complexes
In addition I have in stock the first DVD of the series A Philosophy of Strength Training.
You can pre-order any of these individually or pre-order the full set of four via the website here. If there’s a big demand, it’ll be ‘first come first served’ for delivery before Christmas as I am only shipping over a limited number. So get those orders in!
Whet your appetite by watching the previews on youtube.
Foam Roller
Did you know that I stock foam rollers? If you don’t have one yet, do your body a favour and get one. A bit of self myofascial release of an evening is a boon for tight muscles and gives you something useful to do while shouting at the TV during X-Factor. I only ship these within the UK I’m afraid.
World of Gubes
It’s the World Drug Free Powerlifting Championships tomorrow! I’m nervous about this event as training has not been going as well as I hoped but I’m going to try to enjoy it and remember that I’m really only competing against myself. No time to rest on my laurels though, as the following weekend is the Crossfit Reading/FKUK Strength & Power Invitational. Unfortunately we haven’t managed to persuade any other ladies to give this a shot (maybe next year, girls?) so I will be going up against the guys in a one-woman assault on male hegemony. Appropriately, the location of the event is not very far from Greenham Common so I will let that be an inspiration.
I moved back to London last weekend, as the switched-on amongst you will have gathered from this post. Settling back suprisingly quickly but I did live here for 23 years. You can take the girl out of the city but, it appears, you can’t take the city out of the girl.
